Project Description
This project will primarily focus on Marginalized communities but we are open to receiving Oral
Histories and Oral Futures from everyone.
In our society, marginalization is the social process of becoming or being made marginal (to relegate
or confine to a lower social standing or outer limit or edge, as of social standing). Along with material
deprivation (such as food and shelter), marginalized individuals are also excluded from services,
programs, and policies.
In order to help make marginalized people more visible, we will undertake a project to collect as
many of their oral histories as possible. The project will be bring visibility to marginalized people and
communities who have suffered from exponentially increasing social injustices as a result of not
having their voice heard.
The project shall be based upon a minimum of approximately two hours of interviews collected from all areas of the world.
Multicultural Outreach Media is now accepting donations by credit card to help the Radiant Amazing World film series that will be created during this film festival. If you would like to make a donation and you desire a 501(c)3 tax-deductible receipt please donate securely using a credit card by clicking here. Or you can print out the form and mail it in by clicking here. Shunpike, our wonderful fiscal sponsor, will get a small percentage of the donation and you will receive a tax-deductible receipt at your mailing address.
If you would like to make a donation and you Do NOT desire a 501(c)3 tax-deductible receipt please donate securely to Organizing For Communities by using the PayPal button below. You will not receive a tax-deductible receipt at your mailing address.
No offense intended to anyone, but this invitation to help sponsor the Radiant Amazing World film project is only valid if you are not part of any multinational corporations and you are not employed as part of a political party. We strictly do not accept donations/sponsorships from multinational corporations or political parties in order to maintain our educational independence.
We can offer two different things:
#1. A tax-deductible receipt for monetary donations (or in-kind donations such as food, office space, office equipment, audio/video equipment, gift certificates, etc)
to help in the creation of our film.
or
#2. No tax-deductible receipt but you would get Sponsorship Rewards for helping us with the conference as well as helping us with the Radiant Amazing World Documentary. You will receive rewards such as the ones found in sponsorship levels listed below:
Donation Rewards
A. - People who Pledge $10 or more receive a hand
signed thank you card as well as a special website
address so you can download the final DVD. We'll
also place your name online to thank you to the
world!
B. - Pledge $25+ receive everything above as well as
an actual DVD copy of the film.
C. - Pledge $50+ and receive everything above as well
as a full color limited edition poster of our film.
D. - Pledge $75+ and receive everything above as well
as a T-Shirt and your name in the film credits.
E. - Pledge $100+ and receive everything above as
well as a CD of the soundtrack.
F. - Pledge $200+ and you will receive everything
above as well as a full color scrapbook of photos on
acid-free archival scrapbook pages and a framed
poster of your choice of one of the images from the
photo scrapbook. You will also receive a lifetime
special rate when ordering future copies of the DVD
and the DVD and Poster that you receive will be
signed by the Director and members of the film.
G. - If you do not want any of the above rewards but
prefer a 501(c) tax-deductible receipt instead we can
also do that as well.
